Dear Go players,

On April 20th and 21st, 2024, after a long break, the 8th Luxembourg Go tournament will take place in the library of the University of Luxembourg. Here we can play on up to 25 boards.

The tournament location is in the library of the University of Luxembourg, public transport is free in Luxembourg

Rules

• It is a rating tournament (registered in the EGD as class B)
• We play 4 rounds ☛ McMahon. .
• Thinking time: ☛ Fischer Timing with 30 minutes basic thinking time + 15 seconds per move
• Japanese rules, Komi is 7, tournament rules
• Participation is only possible with advance registration via bank transfer

• Saturday, 9:00 a.m. set up
  • Saturday, 10:45 a.m. welcome
  • Saturday, 11:00 a.m.: 1st round
  • Saturday, 1:30 p.m. break
  • Saturday, 2:00 p.m.: 2nd round
  • Saturday, 4:30 p.m. (end of round 2)
  • Saturday, 5:00 p.m.: The library closes
• Sunday, 8:00 a.m.: Start of day 2
  • Sunday, 9:30 a.m.: 3rd round
  • Sunday, 12:00 p.m. break
  • Sunday, 12:30 p.m.: 4th round
  • Sunday, 3:15 p.m.: Award ceremony
  • Sunday 4:00 p.m.: dismantling
  • Sunday 5:00 p.m.: The library closes
